IIP.jpg The Investors in People Standard is a real indicator of how a school can work well for its pupils, learners, all staff and the community.

For Battledown the Investors in People Standard has become the benchmark of our planned and coherent approach to school management which focuses on a firm commitment to pupils and the school community. The Investors in People framework helps ensure we attract, motivate and retain high quality staff, delivering added value to the school through well trained, motivated and stable staff.
NAPTA.jpg NAPTA, National Association for Professional Teaching Assistants, has established a process for the development of support staff in schools.  Battledown Centre for children and Families use of these tools indicates that members of staff throughout the school are valued and that their personal development is vital to our continued success.

Bristol standard.jpg The Bristol Standard is a self-evaluation framework which Battledown has used to improve on our previous best. It involves working together on developments to improve outcomes for all children and families.

In using the Bristol Standard, Battledown’s practitioners have been part of a process that protects and celebrates the wonder of childhood through well-informed and reflective practice.
